President Donald Trump denounced the violent
clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters in
Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday.

“We reject in a strongest probable terms this egregious
arrangement of hatred, bigotry, and assault on many sides,” Trump
pronounced during a press conference. “On many sides.” 

He added: “It’s been going on for a long, prolonged time in our
country. Not Donald Trump. Not Barack Obama. It’s been going on
for a long, prolonged time.”

The demonstrations turned
deadly when a automobile plowed by a throng of
counter-protesters, ensuing in mixed injuries and during least
one death.
