At slightest 13 people have died from large mudslides in a rich Southern California segment early Tuesday morning.

A complicated story triggered peep floods and unleashed waste in Montecito, Santa Barbara, around 2.30 a.m. local time (PST), a LA Times reported.

As Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown told reporters on Tuesday night: “The best approach we can report it is it looked like a World War One battlefield.”
