A National Rifle Association ad that has gained traction on
amicable media this month urges Americans to join “freedom’s safest
place” as protesters and members of a “resistance” transformation who
conflict Donald Trump’s presidency “smash windows, bake cars,” and
“terrorize a law-abiding.”

The one-minute ad facilities footage of protesters and marches
overlayed with explanation by a regressive media personality
and NRA mouthpiece Dana Loesch.

Loesch describes anti-Trump protests as “madness” and apprehension that
“shut down interstates and airports” and aver a heavy-handed
military response.

Here’s a full transcript:

“They use their media to murder genuine news. They use their
schools to learn children that their boss is another Hitler.
They use their film stars and singers and comedy shows and award
shows to repeat their account over and over again. And then
they use their ex-president to validate a resistance.

“All to make them march, make them protest, make them scream
injustice and sexism and xenophobia and homophobia. To smash
windows, bake cars, close down interstates and airports, brag and
scare a law-abiding — until a usually choice left is for the
military to do their jobs and stop a madness.

“And when that happens, they’ll use it as an forgive for their
outrage. The usually approach we stop this, a usually approach we save our
nation and a freedom, is to quarrel this assault of lies with
a clenched fist of truth. I’m a National Rifle Association of
America, and I’m freedom’s safest place.”

The ad stirred recoil from some progressives, who called it
“an open call to
violence” and “barely a wheeze bashful of a call for full civil
war.”

The regressive columnist Anne Applebaum also denounced the
ad, observant it called on Americans “to arm themselves to fight
liberals. Violence is coming.”

Loesch doubled down in a Periscope video posted on Wednesday
night, observant that “the denunciation of a left is violence” and
job “these people … a dullest crayons in a box.”

The ad’s denunciation echoes what NRA Executive Vice President Wayne
LaPierre pronounced during a Conservative Political Action Conference
in February.

“Right now, we face a entertainment of army that are peaceful to use
assault opposite us,” he said, citing “the revolutionary radical plan
to taxation capitalism to collapse” and “the ISIS dream of a worldwide
caliphate.”

“A lot of people, for a lot of reasons, wish to blow it all up
and rip a whole thing down,” LaPierre said. “The left’s
summary is positively clear. They wish revenge. You have to be
punished. They contend we are what is wrong with America and now you
have to be purged.”
