Solar obscure eyeglasses are offered out like crazy — here’s where we can still get them

As Aug 21 nears, solar obscure eyeglasses are offered out across
a US. 

Retailers including REI, Walmart, and Best Buy have sole of their
obscure eyeglasses online. Amazon still has eyeglasses available
by third-party retailers — yet some
are nearing after a large event. 

Complicating matters is a fact that the marketplace is being

flooded with poor knockoffs. Watching a eclipse
by eyeglasses that aren’t approved to strengthen your eyes can
lead to critical damage. 

Fortunately, the American Astronomical Society (AAS) has a
list of creditable brands and retailers. 

“Your eyes are precious!” a AAS’s website reads. “You
don’t need astronomers to tell we that, yet we do need
astronomers to tell we where to get protected solar filters: from the
companies listed on this page.” 

There are ways to get giveaway obscure glasses, yet bonds are
using low. Libraries are giving divided 2 million giveaway eyeglasses and
NASA is handing out 1.5 million. Check out these maps

other science-centric organizations might be your best bet. The AAS

offered obscure glasses. However, if we buy from this list, make
certain to double check a code is on a AAS-approved list — some
vendors might be offered both protected and vulnerable glasses.
